Parenthood in Philadelphia, PA, where she supports outpatient counseling and follow-up care. 

Previously, Mary spent nearly 15 years at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia as an OB/GYN Nurse Practioner, and prior to that served as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner at Pennridge OB/GYN in Sellersville, PA. She began her career in Missouri, working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital followed by Labor and Delivery at St. Louis Regional Medical Center and Deaconess Hospital.

As a staff nurse, Mary has extensive expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for low and high-risk patients. As an OB/GYN nurse practitioner, she has experience providing both routine and complex gynecological and obstetrical care, as well as family planning services, counseling, and patient education. 

Mary is passionate about patient advocacy and helping women navigate the health care system to promote their and their children’s good health. As JKPPA’s secretary’s and member of its professional panel, Mary hopes to elevate the patients’ voices in their own health care.

Mary is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurse and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Reproductive Health.  She received her RN nursing diploma from Lutheran Medical Center, her BSN from Webster University, and her MSN, Health Care of Women, from the University of Pennsylvania.
