Sara Zenlea, MSW, LCSW

Social Work Advisor, JKPPA

Sara Zenlea has spent her career advocating for client/patients, primarily older
adults. Currently, Sara serves Holocaust Survivors and their families at NOW for Holocaust Survivors Initiative at MorseLife Health Systems.

Previously Sara was a Care Manager at Alpert Jewish Family Service. In addition to addressing her clients’ individual needs, Ms. Zenlea also focused on executing intergenerational community programs for Holocaust survivors, and has worked with educational programs for caregivers to bridge gaps in understanding of the
impact of trauma on survivors of human atrocities and genocide. Ms. Zenlea developed on-line “Zoom and Schmooze” programs and “Read and Schmooze” newsletter to keep survivors connected during the pandemic.


Sara has also worked in case management for older adults in urban, underserved
communities and has served as a care consultant with the Alzheimer’s Association.


Ms. Zenlea holds an M.S.W. from Florida Atlantic University with certification in Geriatric Social Work.
